Security and presence simulation: a home that watches over itself

The best security is often the most discreet. KNX deters and alerts without turning your home into a bunker.

Leaving with peace of mind is home automation too. Without replacing a certified alarm, KNX adds a layer of deterrence and calm, integrated with the rest of the installation.

Presence simulation

While you're away, the system replays a plausible life: lights turning on and off, shutters moving at the usual hours. From outside, the home looks occupied — the simplest and most effective deterrence.

Away and night scenes

An 'away' scene locks down the home with one touch: shutters closed, lights off, heating in eco, simulation active. At night, an 'all off' scene or a pathway light secures movement.

  • Central away mode, by button or app.
  • Panic or pathway lighting at night.
  • Alerts on events, depending on installed sensors.

Access and intercom integration

KNX talks to video intercoms, strikes and gates. You can open, see who's ringing and trigger a welcome mood from the same interface. Everything stays coherent, without piling up boxes.

A complementary layer, not a substitute

Security automation complements an alarm and good locks, it doesn't replace them. Our role: integrate these functions cleanly into your KNX installation so they truly serve day to day. See also our Security & access page.
