Clarify your priorities
Not everything needs to be automated from day one. List what truly matters to you: daily comfort, energy savings, security, the look of the controls. That ranking guides every choice that follows.
- —Which functions first: lighting, shading, heating, security?
- —New build, renovation or extending an existing system?
- —Indicative budget and timeline.
Gather the right documents
The more information the integrator has, the more precise the quote. For a build or renovation, plans are valuable.
- —Architect's plans or measurements, even rough ones.
- —A list of rooms and their uses.
- —Contacts of the other trades (electrician, heating engineer) if already chosen.
Understand the role of timing
